My approach to photography is all about capturing authentic moments together with your loved ones.
When I photograph families, my focus is on capturing the real, lovely moments that showcase just how special your family is.
I want your photography session to be a fun experience for everyone involved. Though I will walk you through some traditional posing, I love documenting the candid "in between" moments that create those lasting memories that tell your story.
Parenthood is filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to help you capture and keep them vivid.

newborn (90 minutes)
Newborn (Fresh 48 & Lifestyle)
$100 creative fee
Session includes:
- Planning consultation (by phone, Facebook Chat, or email)
- Up to 90 minute session, in your home or hospital/birthing center
- no rushing through session
- Includes all family members, and pets if desired
- Detail photographs are always taken (tiny feet, hands, ears, etc.) in addition to portraits and documentary-style photographs
- Selection of digital images in high resolution
- After the session, you’ll get access to a proofing gallery where you’ll choose your photo collection.
Best for: Parents who desire photographs that tell their story.

End of Life Pet Session (one hour)
Legacy Portraits
It includes:
• Planning consultation (by Facebook chat or email)
• Up to 1 hour session in your home
• All deliverable digital images in high resolution online gallery
Best for: Pet parents who are saying goodbye to their beloved pets.

- Travel to your home (within Carroll County, MD)
- 1 hour of photography
- Professional backdrop and lighting setup
- Use of some props upon request
- Selection of digital images in high resolution from proofing gallery
Best for: Milestones such as birthdays, personality sessions, or just because! These are for children under 12 or pets.
Digital Collections starting at $155
All sessions require a non-refundable creative fee.
This fee is not applied towards your package selection and is completely separate. It allows me to secure your date, scout the perfect location and/or provide materials necessary, and chat with you about planning. You are not charged anything else until you view and select your photos from your proofing gallery.

Frequently asked questions
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
I currently do not charge a travel fee and thus primarily shoot in/around Carroll County exclusively at this time.
What is a proofing gallery?
Your proofing gallery is a gallery of all deliverable images, partially edited and delivered in lowered resolution with my watermark across the image. This is where you will go through and choose the collection (number of photos) you'd like to purchase.
Can I customize a photography package to fit all my needs?
The packages I offer should meet the needs of most, however, I am happy to chat about your specific vision and come up with a plan that works for both of us!
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
My turnaround time is relatively quick! You should have your proofing gallery within a week, and then your final images within a week of you finalizing your choices.
How should we dress for our family session?
I aim to achieve a cohesive look for your gallery. However, you should dress in whatever you feel comfortable and confident in!
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn, and do you offer props?
The best time is typically during late morning or early afternoon for indoor Fresh 48 or Lifestyle sessions.
My newborn sessions consist of either Fresh 48 in the hospital, or an in-home lifestyle session, usually within 2 weeks of baby's birth. At this time, I am not providing props or styled newborn shoots, sorry! My newborn sessions are typically casual and authentic.
Do you photograph pets? How does that work?
I do! We typically would do this type of session outdoors or indoors (with natural light), or it can be booked with my mobile studio setup.
I also offer special Legacy Sessions (End of Life) at no cost, aside from the session booking fee. This is reserved for folks who have to say goodbye to their beloved pet
What happens if my kids don't cooperate during our session?
Children are little versions of ourselves, and we all have bad days sometimes. Though my policy states that I am not to be held responsible for uncooperative kids, and uncooperative children are not a reason to reschedule or reshoot (unless I find it necessary after reviewing your proofs), I will do my best to make our session fun and less of a "chore." I also expect the same of the parents. Please do not yell at or become upset with your child for having a tantrum. We will get through it and make it work!
